Treating of LLD and Achilles Tendonitis and Pronation...Rationale: Limb length discrepancy can occur as a result of structural differences in the length of the long bones of the leg or a difference in the way in which the two limbs function. Whichever is the cause, if left unaddressed this can give rise to a number of postural problems including lower back pain. By lifting the heel the tension in the tendon is reduced allowing for natural healing. Medial posting of the heel will also reduce the pronation compensation often assiciated with restriction of the ankle and Achilles tendonitis. Proheel is a moulded rearfoot orthotic made from medium density EVA. Each pair is furnished with an anti-bacterial top cover. It is ideal for elevation of the heel in cases of limb length discrepancy, restriction of ankle joint movement and Achillies tendonitis. Each size is available in: 6mm, 9mm, 12mmPronation of the heel. Many feet pronate excessively and only show significant change in the heel position.
